Tasneem Nahar

Tasneem Nahar is the Director for Grant Programs at the Global Fund to End Modern Slavery where she oversees project operations, administration, and finance activities from the Fund’s headquarters.  Prior to GFEMS, Tasneem worked as a Program Director at Social Impact, supervising a team that oversaw $60 million in monitoring and evaluation contracts.  She also worked in Bangladesh, India, Thailand, East Timor, Lebanon, Ghana, Ethiopia and Cameroon, in addition to countries in other parts of the world, in jobs working for USAID, the State Department, Save the Children, Catholic Relief Services and other organizations. Tasneem holds an M.A. in Development Management from American University.
