Grace West

Programs & Grantmaking Lead

Grace West is the Programs & Grantmaking Lead at the Global Fund to End Modern Slavery where she manages the Fund’s grantmaking operations, program portfolio, and grantee partnerships, as well as supports overall strategy development and implementation. Prior to this role, she worked for USAID in the Center of Excellence on Democracy, Human Rights and Governance with counter-trafficking in persons as a part of her portfolio, and in the Office of Food for Peace on humanitarian food assistance. Before joining USAID, Grace worked for a development NGO in Kigali, Rwanda in education and health, and a law firm in Washington, DC in the Federal Grants and Health Law practice groups. Grace holds an MA in International Relations and International Economics from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies with a focus on conflict management and international law, and a BA in Politics and Journalism with a minor in History from New York University.
