Senior Associate, Evidence and Learning
April Stewart is a Senior Associate for Evidence and Learning. Prior to joining GFEMS, April was a Global Health Corps Fellow at Health Development Initiative (HDI), a local Rwandan NGO focused on sexual and reproductive health access for marginalized populations, where she served as Monitoring, Evaluation & Research Officer. Prior to working in Rwanda, April spent two years in India working to increase data-driven decision making in Rajasthan’s Department of Education and Karnataka’s Department of Health and Family Welfare. Before graduate school, April worked at a charter school in Chicago, where she provided data analytics report and worked on local, state, and private compliance issues related to charter contract, local laws and private grant requirements. April has a B.S. in Education with a focus in Social Policy from Northwestern University and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy.
