Jean Baderschneider – CEO and Founding Board Member
Dr. Jean Baderschneider is the CEO and founding board member of The Global Fund to End Modern Slavery. With 35+ years of experience in the private sector, Dr. Baderschneider retired from ExxonMobil where she was Vice President, Global Procurement. In this role she had global responsibility for procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, warehousing, and accounts payables operations. She has a deep understanding of complex partnerships and an extensive network of government and business leaders around the world.
Dr. Baderschneider has 10 years of experience working on anti-trafficking efforts globally. She previously served as the Chair of the Global Leadership Council and as a member of the Board of Directors of Polaris, Made in a Free World, and Verité.
Dr. Baderschneider holds a Masters degree from University of Michigan and a Ph.D. from Cornell University. She is the recipient of Cornell’s 2013 Jerome Alpern Award and Nomi Network’s 2013 Corporate Social Responsibility Award.
