RFP: Short-term contracts for research, scoping and analytical support

GFEMS is currently designing new funding activities in India and Bangladesh under its partnership with the UK Department for International Development, targeting commercial sexual exploitation, forced labor among migrant workers, and forced labor in apparel sectors.

As part of this design phase, GFEMS seeks proposals for the following 10 scopes of work, each of which constitutes a distinct RFP. Bids may come from individuals and organizations providing strategy, research and analysis services (this is not an RFP for implementation of programs). It is acceptable to bid on multiple RFPs, in which case please prepare a single proposal document in a way that allows the capabilities, plan, and costs for each RFP to be individually assessed:

• COMMERCIAL SEXUAL EXPLOITATION (OF CHILDREN)

  • Driver Analysis and Strategic Review of Programming for Commercial Sexual Exploitation in India/Bangladesh

  • Beneficiary Vulnerability Analysis & Engagement for CSE in India and Bangladesh

  • Use of Technology Solutions to Disrupt CSEC in India

• Forced/BONDED LABOR AMONG OVERSEAS LABOR MIGRANTS

  • Driver Analysis and Strategic Review of Programming on Forced Labor Among Migrant Workers from Bangladesh/India

  • Beneficiary Vulnerability Analysis & Engagement for Bangladesh Overseas Labor Migrants (with potential addition of India)

  • Industry and Competitive Analysis of Overseas Labor Recruiting Industry in Bangladesh

• Forced/BONDED LABOR in KEY APPAREL SECTORS

  • Driver Analysis and Strategic Review of Programming on Apparel in India/Bangladesh

  • Beneficiary Vulnerability Analysis & Engagement for Apparel in India and Bangladesh

  • Quantifying the Business Value of Improved Labor Conditions in Spinning Mills in Tamil Nadu

  • Targeted Research on India’s Home-based Apparel Production Sector
