Sindhu Sagar – Research and Development Associate
Sindhu Sagar is Research and Development Associate at the Global Fund to End Modern Slavery, where she supports the research and learning activities of the program. Before joining the Fund, Sindhu consulted for the ICRC’s New Delhi Regional Delegation, developing its multilateral affairs strategy and carrying out policy analysis. Prior to that she worked in various capacities for World Vision's Myanmar, UK and Asia Pacific Regional offices. At World Vision, Sindhu managed/supported child protection, accountability to communities and humanitarian emergency affairs projects. In particular during her time as WV’s Regional Accountability Specialist and UK Advisor, she advocated for the integration of accountability mechanisms into relief/development programs, designed beneficiary feedback systems and equipped country teams to establish these. Sindhu holds a Masters in International Relations, with a focus on International Law, from Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a Bachelors in Economics from Messiah College.
