Sheila Chanani – Senior Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Manager

Sheila Chanani is Senior Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Manager at the Global Fund to End Modern Slavery. Sheila has over 15 years of experience in program evaluation, public health, and economic research. She has worked with non-profit organizations across rural and urban India including Society for Nutrition, Education & Health Action (Mumbai) and Freedom from Hunger. Her past experiences also include program management for the IGERT International Development and Globalization Program and the Initiative for Policy Dialogue, both at Columbia University. Sheila started her career in economic consulting as a Senior Analyst for Cornerstone Research (San Francisco). She holds an MALD specializing in Development Economics and NGO Management from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, a BA in Economics from Stanford University, and is completing a Graduate Diploma in Applied Epidemiology at the National University of Singapore. She is a former Clinton Fellow with the American India Foundation.
