RFP: Prevalence Estimation Research

The Global Fund to End Modern Slavery (GFEMS) is pleased to release a Request for Proposal for a research partner to carry out seven studies to estimate the prevalence of modern slavery in various industries across India and Bangladesh.

GFEMS is currently designing new funding activities under its partnership with the UK Department for International Development. As part of this design phase, GFEMS seeks proposals for this prevalence estimation studies scope of work. Bids may come from individuals and organizations providing data collection and research services (this is not an RFP for implementation of programs).

Proposal Information

  • Please submit your proposal by 18 January 2019 to proposals@gfems.org with the subject line “RFP: Prevalence Estimation – [company or individual name]”. You may submit your proposal as a PDF or Word document.

  • Please send an intent to submit in the form of an email to: proposals@gfems.org with the subject “Intent to Submit: Prevalence Estimation - [company name]”. The deadline for sending an intent to submit is one week prior to the submission deadline (10 January 2019).

  • Prior to the submission deadline, you may email any questions to proposals@gfems.org. All questions must be submitted by 4th January.

Indicative Timeline

  • RFP released -  December 13, 2018

  • Deadline for questions - January 4, 2019

  • Deadline for “Intent to Submit” email - January 10, 2019

  • Deadline for final proposals submission - January 18, 2019

  • Consultant selected and contract awarded -  February 1, 2019
