RFP: Measuring Deterrence – CSEC in India

The Global Fund to End Modern Slavery (GFEMS) is pleased to release a Request for Proposal for a short term opportunity to develop and apply innovative solutions/technology approaches to measure deterrence of commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) in Maharashtra, India. 

GFEMS is seeking proposals to carry out this innovative research under its partnership with the US Department of State. Bids may come from individuals and organizations providing data collection and research services (this is not an RFP for implementation of programs).

  • Please submit your proposal by 31st January 2019 at 23:59 GMT-5 (11:59pm EST) to proposals@gfems.org with the subject line “RFP: Measuring Deterrence – [Applicant name]”. You may submit your proposal as a PDF, Word document, or PowerPoint file.

  •  Please send an intent to submit in the form of an email to: proposals@gfems.org with the subject “Intent to Submit: Measuring Deterrence - [Applicant name]”. The deadline for sending an intent to submit is 24 January 2019 (one week prior to the submission deadline).

  • Prior to the submission deadline, you may email any questions to proposals@gfems.org by 16th January 2019.

  • Deadline for questions - January 16, 2019

  • Deadline for “Intent to Submit” email - January 24, 2019

  • Deadline for final proposals submission - January 31, 2019 at 23:59 GMT-5 (11:59pm EST)

  • Consultant selected and contract awarded -  February 18, 2019

  • Deadline for final deliverable - May 31, 2019 (including baseline analysis)

  • Timeline for Endline Analysis - August 30, 2020
